- Exeter Maths School
For September 2027 entry: applications close Wednesday 7 January 2027, entrance test Saturday 6 February 2027, interviews Saturday 6 March 2027, conditional offers Friday 13 March 2027, acceptance deadline Monday 22 March 2027. (The September 2026 cycle closed 7 December 2025 and its waiting pool is full.)
- KCL Maths School
For September 2026 entry: applications opened 12 September 2025 and closed 23 November 2025; test sat 6 December 2025; interviews 23–24 January 2026; offers issued early February 2026. No personal statement is required, and late applications are not normally considered.
- Liverpool Maths School
For September 2026 entry: early-deadline Sunday 7 December 2025 (unlocks a prep session); standard deadline early January 2026; aptitude test Saturday 17 January 2026; interviews in February; conditional offers by end of February; confirmed on GCSE results day in August. A second round runs March–August if places remain.
- Cambridge Maths School
For 2026 entry: applications opened 16 October 2025 and closed 13 January 2026; aptitude test 7 February 2026; interviews 2–13 March 2026; conditional offers by end of March 2026; enrolment on GCSE results day in August 2026.
- Imperial Maths School
The 2026-entry deadline was Thursday 8 January 2026 (now closed); test 18 January 2026; interviews February 2026; offers March–April 2026; enrolment confirmed on GCSE results day in August 2026.
- Leeds Maths School
For September 2027 entry: applications open Monday 12 October 2026 and close Sunday 20 December 2026; admissions assessment days 6, 9 or 10 February 2027.
- Surrey Maths School
The most recent (September 2026 entry) admissions window has closed. Admissions for September 2027 entry have not yet opened — the school is taking mailing-list registrations only.
- Aston Maths School
Runs rolling admissions in "waves" rather than a single fixed deadline — as of July 2026 a fourth wave for September 2026 entry was still open. No fees: fully state-funded.
- The 1729 Maths School
The September 2026 opening-cohort application window has already closed (it ran to 9 November 2025). For September 2027 entry, applications open Tuesday 1 September 2026 and close Friday 30 October 2026; Stage 1 tests 7 & 14 November 2026; Stage 2 written assessment 5 December 2026; bursary-application deadline 11 December 2026; Stage 3 oral assessment days in January 2027; offers emailed 12 February 2027; acceptance deadline 3 March 2027. There is no UK application fee. An Open Morning for prospective September 2027 families is set for Saturday 26 September 2026.
